The “Master of Arts in Ancient Near Eastern Studies” is a 4-semester long program conducted in German. It is a continuation of the BA program in the subject offered at the University of Göttingen. The MA gives students the opportunity to explore the languages, literature, texts and monuments of the Ancient Near East from the Neolithic period. Furthermore, students will acquire hands-on experience and learn specialised methodological approaches. Graduates can pursue a career in a related field at universities, non-academic research institutions, libraries, museums and more.
