The “Master of Arts in Classical Archaeology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. The MA aims to provide in-depth knowledge of the material and pictorial tradition of the ancient Mediterranean cultures and their link to neighbouring cultures. The program is practice-oriented and aims to teach students how to analyse and scientifically treat archaeological findings. The MA qualifies graduates for doctoral studies. They can find work in museums, in the preservation of historical monuments, education, publishing houses, press, media, tourism, diplomatic institutions, as well as international organisations.
