The “Master of Education in Protestant Religion” is a German-taught teacher training course with a duration of 4 semesters. The program offered at the University of Göttingen is designed for people with a Bachelor’s degree in the subject who wish to expand their knowledge. Throughout their education, students learn how to implement their knowledge about religion and the related topics into the classroom. The curriculum includes intensive modules such as  Planning and reflection of religious education and Analysis and development of religious education processes in a pluralistic society. The MEd prepares graduates for a teaching position in secondary schools.
