The “Master of Arts in Egyptology and Coptic Studies” is a German-taught program with a 4-semester length. It is a continuation of the BA program offered at the University of Göttingen. The program provides students with a deeper understanding of archaeology, the history of religion, art and literature, linguistics, cultural, social and church history of Egypt. Students will gain practical relevance and learn how to analyse and present archaeological findings in a scientific manner. Graduates will be qualified for a career in universities, academic and non-academic research establishments, libraries, and in museums.
