The “Bachelor of Science in Geography” is 6-semester program studied in German.  It aims to familiarize students with local and global concerns in society and the environment and how it all relates to geography. Göttingen offers participants the chance to tailor their own study profile thanks to a broad selection of modules from neighbouring disciplines. During their education, students will acquire in-depth knowledge of methodology and learn specific techniques of applied research. Throughout their studies, participants will also focus on improving their soft skills like critical thinking, decision-making and work in a team. The BSc degree is a foundation for a later Master’s degree.
