The “Bachelor of Science in Geoscience” is a 6-semester long course conducted in German. The program interlinks theoretical knowledge of the natural sciences and analytical expertise with geoscientific matters. Apart from the main courses studied in the first and second semester, participants can tailor their studies and choose an elective module in their third year. Throughout their education, students will gain an in-depth understanding of current issues in the environment and how to deal with them. They’ll develop soft skills such as critical thinking, solution-finding, and teamwork. The BSc is applicable to various professions in various sectors such as resources, conservation, consulting, engineering, insurances, and more.
