The “Bachelor of Arts in Latin Philology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is a two-subject program which focuses on the Latin language and its cultural and historical aspects. Students also gain knowledge in education sciences and didactic methods. They have the opportunity to personalise their education and choose one elective module - Ancient history, Archaeology, Linguistics, or Latin Literature of the Middle Ages. Depending on their specialisation of choice, graduates can find employment in the fields of culture, media, and research or pursue a Master’s degree in the subject.
