The “Master of Arts in Latin Philology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It builds on the BA program offered at the University of Göttingen. The MA aims to intensify the knowledge of students in the Latin language and all its aspects, but also gain practical relevance. Students will aquire hands-on experience and learn how to conduct and present scientific findings. Graduates are qualified to become expert latinists or work as a language and cultural mediator in the public and private sectors. The MA also qualifies graduates for a further doctoral degree.
