The “Master of Science in Mathematics” is a 4-semester program taught in German or English. It builds on the corresponding BSc program offered at the University of Göttingen. The MSc aims to deepen the knowledge of students and provide them with practice opportunities. Participants of the program can tailor their education and choose a specialisation that can set their career path early on. Study profiles include General Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Physics or Mathematical Data Science. Furthermore, the program is research-oriented and gives students the opportunity to carry out scientific research individually. The MSc prepares graduates for work in banks, insurance companies, consulting firms, commercial enterprises, research and development departments, and more.
