The “Master of Arts in North American Studies” is an English-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It builds on the BA program in the subject offered at the University of Göttingen. Students will have the opportunity to choose a line of field - a specialisation in iterary, cultural, and media studies. Furthermore, they’ll gain practical relevance and learn how to analyse and present scientific work on their own. Depending on the specialisation of choice, graduates can take different career paths, for example - in universities, business (e.g. transatlantic trade), in publishing houses, journalism, public service, government, and more.
