The “Bachelor of Arts in Prehistory and Early Archaeology” is a 6-semester program conducted in German. The curriculum consists of interdisciplinary courses such as Introduction to Prehistory and Early History, Neolithic period, Bronze Age, Iron Age, and the Middle Ages. Students will gain fundamental subject-specific knowledge and learn how to implement terms, theories, and methods into a working environment. Furthermore, they’ll have the opportunity to independently plan and conduct research projects in a scientific manner. The BA is a foundation for a later Master’s degree or graduates can pursue a career in museums, libraries, journalism, and institution for the preservation of historical monuments.
