The Bachelor’s degree „Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Philology“ is a German-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. During their education, students will gain a fundamental understanding of at least one Slavic language and its literary and cultural aspects. The BA offers students areas of specialisation, for example - Slavic Studies, Russian Studies, Polish Philology Czech Philology, Bulgarian Studies, and more. Furthermore, students will gain research and analytical skills and learn to implement philological methods in the working environment. Graduates can find employment in academic, publishing, journalistic, and artistic sectors, related to the Slavic language. They can also opt for a Master’s degree.
