The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with a duration of six semesters. It is taught in German. This study course is aiming at people that are interested in social conditions, meaning some consequences of media, public and interpersonal communications. Throughout their studies participants will learn the basics of interpersonal communications and then deal with more complex forms of social communication. Some subjects included in this program are communication law, fundamentals of communication, communication context and applications, article information and communicational technologies for development solutions, visual literacy, political evolution and more. Towards the end of their studies graduates can choose from wide variety of jobs such as public relation specialists, meeting/event planner, media planner, social media manager, human resources specialist, business reporter and many more.
