The degree program “Master of Science in Dental Prosthetics” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with a duration of five semesters. In the past few decades dental prosthetics has developed massively from a dental technology orientated specialist area focused on replacing teeth to a preventative orientated restorative oral medicine. This study course is aimed at people with extensive knowledge and skills in the field of oral medical rehabilitation who are interested in growing in the modern dentistry area. Some of the following modules are included in this program: systematics of oral medical rehabilitation, development, preparation and implementation of complex prosthetics solutions, application of the entire spectrum of modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in dental practice with special consideration of differential therapeutic considerations. After successfully completing this degree graduate are qualified to work as a dental assistant, patient care coordinator, dental lab technician, dentist and many more.
