The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in English/American Studies” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with duration of six semesters. It is taught in both German and English. This study course is aiming at people with a good knowledge of English that are interested in literatures, languages and cultures. Throughout this course participants will learn about cultures of the anglophone countries and they will focus on both theoretical and practical skills. The program covers subjects, such as: language practice, English linguistics, English and North American literary studies, cultural studies from Great Britain and more. Students also learn work and research techniques, which will help them a lot in their future career. Towards the end of their studies graduates are qualified to work in business communication management, culture (Journalist, moderator), art culture management, tourism or in social areas.
