Description
The degree program “Master of Arts in Language and Communication: International” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with a duration of four semesters. The main focus of discourse is to enable students to competently analyse, describe and reflect critically on the language and communication in institution and in public. Throughout their studies participants will focus on Internationalization and research. Some modules included in this course are: historical foundations of today’s German, grammar and pragmatics of spoken and written language, language and social interaction, media organisation, media use, media impact and more. After successfully completing this degree graduates will be qualified to work in the following areas: public relations, language and advice and communication training in companies and politics, communication and media training for parties, associations and civil society actors, journalistic activity in political journalism and media reporting, research on applied linguistics/interpersonal communication and many more.
