Description
The degree program “Master of Arts in Linguistic Diversity” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with a duration of four semesters. It is aimed at people with previous bachelor’s degree in some of the following English/American studies, Baltic studies, Finnish studies, German studies, Scandinavian studies or Slavic studies. Throughout their studies participants will focus on different aspects of linguistic action with cultural, regional, social and cognitive anchoring, as well as deepen and expand their language skills. During their studies students will focus on topics such as literacy skills, culture, interculturality and transculturality, as well as critical examination of foreignness and the management of intercultural communication situations. After successfully completing this program graduates are qualified to work in fields, such as culture and education management, journalism, publishing, press and public relations, politics, international organisations, foundations or universities.
