The degree program “Master of Science in Mathematics” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with a duration of four semesters. The aim of this degree program is to enable students to work independently when applying mathematical methods in practice and in mathematical research. During their studies participants will be provided with an excellent training in both basic and application – orientated areas of mathematics. Some of the topics that are included in this program are advanced abstract algebra, real analysis, geometry, liner algebra, topology, hydrodynamics and more. Graduates of this course have developed problem – solving and reasoning skills which improves the chances of being hired in the research field as well as the financial sector and the government sector.
