The degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Studies” at University of Greifswald provides a full-time study course with a duration of six semesters. This study course is aimed at people that are willing to intensively deal with foreign languages and cultures. Throughout this program participants will learn the basics of practical language and intercultural knowledge of linguistic relationships, literature, history, culture, politics and the economic, geographical and social characteristics of Slavic-speaking countries. This course is covering various Slavic languages, literature and cultures, as well as the history of the individual Slavic countries and more. Some of the more common career paths for graduates are the following: publishing, writing, editing and media, international or domestic law, government service, teaching, work with international cultural foundations or organisations and many more.
