The “Master of Arts in History of Europe - Epochs, Upheavals, Interdependencies” program at the FernUniversität in Hagen is four semesters long. In the master’s degree, students study the history of Europe in its essential phases, developments, identities, and external relations from antiquity to the modern day. Furthermore, participants broaden and deepen their knowledge not only of history but also of economic, social, political and cultural structures and processes. To apply, candidates must have a completed bachelor’s degree. Graduates pursue career opportunities in museums, archives, libraries, publishing houses, press and relations work.
