Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in African Languages and Cultures (with a Focus on Languages)” is a four-year degree program mainly focused on degree-level studies of Hausa, Amharic and Swahili combined with basic knowledge of the culture in Africa. Students will be taught languages, methods and social-cultural conditions of the language realities on the African continent. This collective expertise gives participants an unparalleled capacity for teaching, learning, and research. After successfully graduating from the Bachelor's degree program, students will have a first-level professional qualification. The knowledge and skills acquired during the study process can be later used in many different occupational fields, including publishing, and policy development. Among the career options are also positions in embassies, museums and other cultural institutions, as well as in different international organizations.
