The degree program “Master of Science in Business Engineering” at the University of Hamburg is designed as a joint one between University of Hamburg, Helmut-Schmidt University and the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Students will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and know-how in all fields of business management, including finance, marketing or supply chain, but also key competencies to decide a strategy, conduct change, or create a business. During the course of studies participants will also develop the ability to understand and engage in all areas of business administration.  The course aims at preparing future executives, leaders and entrepreneurs for any type of industry and organization. This structure of the course helps students with high potential accelerate their career towards senior management in the engineering and technology sectors - whether in a multinational, small and medium enterprise, or as an entrepreneur. The degree program provides the opportunity, not just to gain knowledge in a range of relevant topics, but also to develop the necessary skills needed to apply that knowledge effectively in an increasingly challenging business environment. Participants will be equipped to move into a variety of employment roles, including innovation and technology management, project management, supply chain management, operations management, as well as general management roles.
