‘’Bachelor of Arts in Catalan Studies’’ is a study program provided by University of Hamburg. This course of study is with a duration of six semesters and offers prospective students the possibility to choose Catalan as a minor subject. With this approach, participants will become familiar with the characteristic features of the languages. Thus, they will be able to confidently express themselves both in speaking and writing. The curriculum is divided in three major phases: Introductory, Advanced, and Specialization one. Graduates with a degree in Catalan Studies will develop a linguistically oriented profile that provides access to a range of job roles in different fields such as education, journalism, culture, and others.
