The multi-disciplinary study program “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry” offered at the University of Hamburg consists of about 50 percent of experimental work, similar to the neighboring scientific and technical disciplines, such as Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Pharmacy. The course teaches student not only relevant scientific methods but also how to act responsibly in consideration of the effects of technological changes.
