The research-oriented degree program “Master of Science in Chemistry” at the University of Hamburg provides participants with in-depth knowledge in the field of Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. Тhe course of studies gives students the opportunity to develop and demonstrate advanced knowledge, understanding, and practical/research skills. The aim of this two-year program is to train student as independent scientists and to develop the necessary skills and proficiency to advance their future career. Graduates have many career options, from practical scientist through research technologist to academic specialist. Chemists can work for associations of the chemical industry, at universities and other scientific institutes.
