The Master of Arts course ‘’Empirical Cultural Science’’ offered at University of Hamburg is with a duration of four semesters. As a research-oriented course, this program aims to further educate students about the current research fields and discussions on the subject of everyday culture and practices in a historical and social context. Furthermore, the program is integrated into research projects and thus offers participants the opportunity to acquire additional skills and knowledge. Students can also choose between two areas of thematic focal points, namely City and Urbanity and Technicity and Mediality.
