The study program “Bachelor of Arts in French” at the University of Hamburg introduces to students theory- and method-guided analysis of the French language and its literature from the Renaissance to the present times. Students can choose one of the subjects as a major one during the program "Linguistics" or "Literature Studies". At the final stage of the study process, participants have to write a Bachelor's thesis in order to officially graduate from the program. Upon completing this degree program, grаduates may continue with their studies at Master's level by studying the “Master of Arts in French” program or directly starting to build their careers. After successfully graduating from the Bachelor's degree program, participants can work as translators, assistant managers, as well as in government or private institutions. Other occupational fields include Marketing, Public Relations and Advertising.
