The Master of Arts study program in “German Linguistics’’ offered at University of Hamburg aims at teaching students how to conduct scientific examination of the different aspects of linguistic communication in Germany. This is a full-time study course with a duration of four semesters. Some of the topics that students will explore during their studies include introduction to the linguistic problems and theories, research of spoken and written German, analysis of the various methods of empirical linguistics, and more. Furthermore, participants will be offered the opportunity to choose one out of three specializations.
