University of Hamburg offers the degree program “Bachelor of Arts in History’’ with a full-time duration with a period of six semesters. A central goal of this program is to educate prospective students about the course of history spanning across different epochs. In addition to the theoretical knowledge, participants will also gain key methodological skills in handling relevant historical materials. Graduates with a Bachelor degree in History can continue with a Master’s degree and a doctorate or pursue a career development in museum, libraries, archives, media and culture, tourism, and other areas.
