University of Hamburg offers the six-semester Bachelor of Arts degree program in ‘’Medieval Studies’’. This course of study offers a minor subject geared towards prospective students who want to learn more about the different aspects of the world of European Middle Ages. Participants will explore the history, culture, and literature of this period. A choice between three subjects is possible, namely German Language and Literature, History, and History of Art. Graduates can proceed to advance their knowledge with a Master’s degree or alternatively find work at archives, libraries or museums.
