The Master of Arts study course in ‘’Medieval Studies’’ is a program offered at University of Hamburg. With a duration of four semesters the program promotes interdisciplinary studies focused on the epoch of the Middle Ages. Students will have the chance to choose an individual focus that best suits their needs. The options range between Early German Literature, Medieval History, Medieval Art History, Byzantine Studies, Romance Studies, Theology, Pre- and Early Archaeology/Medieval Studies or Historical Musicology.
