Description
The study program “Bachelor of Science in Meteorology” at the University of Hamburg is funded by the Meteorological Institute, which is part of the Cluster of Excellence “Integrated Climate System Analysis and Prediction”(CliSAP). The course of studies is designed to prepare students for highly interesting and up-to-date fields of activity, providing them with basic knowledge in Mathematics, Physics and Data Protection. It gives students the opportunities to study a semester abroad or to do an internship not only in Europe but also in the USA, Australia and even China. Graduates will be qualified for participating in a Master's program and working in many different fields. They can build a career at climate and environmental research institutes, in commercial enterprises, or insurance companies, among other things.
