University of Hamburg offers the international Master of Science degree program in ‘’Molecular Plant Science’’ – a four-semester long course of study that is taught entirely in English. Here, students will learn more about the application of molecular biological methods within the area of biology. Furthermore, participants will also look at the socio-economic context of molecular biology. Throughout the first three semesters, the degree content will be comprised of seven compulsory and two elective modules. The fourth and final semester is dedicated entirely to the Master’s thesis. Graduates can seek employment in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological industries, as well as in plant breeding, national research centers and others.
