“Peace and Security Studies’’ is an interdisciplinary Master’s degree program offered at University of Hamburg. It is taught in both German and English and is with a duration of two semesters. What is unique about this program is that it is the first of its kind in Germany. It imparts knowledge in natural sciences, the social sciences, and law. One of the main objectives of the course is to introduce participants to the debates and approaches in peace research and security policy. Graduates will be qualified to pursue employment opportunities in national and international organizations, public administrations, professional associations, private-sector companies, etc.
