University of Hamburg offers one of the most diverse programs “Protestant Theology” in German-speaking countries. This program is with a duration of ten semester plus one or two additional semesters for Ancient Languages. Students who enroll in this program can choose from three different courses of study. The latter are as follows First Theological Exam (Ecclesiastical), Diploma course, and a Master’s degree course. All three of them have different curriculum and value in regards to the theological subjects ‘’Old Testament’’, ‘’New Testament’’, ‘’Church History’’, ‘’Systematic Theology’’, ‘’Practical Theology’’, and ‘’Missionary, Ecumenical and Religious Studies’’. Depending on the chose program, graduates could pursue career opportunities as pastors, religion teachers, and others.
