Description
The study program “Bachelor of Science in Psychology” at the University of Hamburg is designed to introduce to students the three major fields of Psychology: learning, behavior and action. The course provides students with the most important professional knowledge and skills required so that they will be able to apply them at a later stage. Participants will be introduced to core areas of psychology via modules covering biological, cognitive, developmental, and social psychology. After successfully completing their studies, graduates will be capable of observing and analyzing the behavior of individuals or groups and using the results of their psychological treatment, as well as counseling research. The Bachelor's degree in Psychology can be chosen not only as full-time but also as a part-time study. Graduates will be better prepared to start their own career as a psychologist. Among the program’s career prospects are also positions in scientific research, professional education and training, as well as in psychological counseling in health, social and educational sectors, as well as business and industry consulting.
