University of Hamburg offers the Bachelor of Education study program ‘’Teacher Training in Special Education – Secondary Education Profile’’. This course is with a duration of six semesters and is aimed at prospective students who want to become teachers in special education. Throughout the program, participants will learn about the fundamental principles of disabled pedagogy. Furthermore, they will also acquire the know-how and skills for practicing special education. The curriculum consists of three sub-courses, educational science, special education and a teaching subject.
