The four-semester Master of Education degree program “Teacher Training in Special Needs Education’’ is offered at University of Hamburg. By enrolling in this course, students will be able to deepen their knowledge in the two teacher training subjects selected in their Bachelor studies. Furthermore, participants will also take a special needs education modules that allows them to focus on one of seven specialist areas. The latter are as follows: Speech Difficulties, Emotional and Social Development, Intellectual Development, Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Learning Difficulties or Physical and Motor Skills Development. In addition to the theoretical training, participants will also take a six-month core placement.
