“Astronomy” is a part-time teaching course with a duration of seven semesters. It is provided by the University of Jena. Students who enter the program have the opportunity to explore various theoretical lectures such as Mathematics, Physics, Physics of the Stars, Didactics of Astronomy, Cosmology, Introduction to Astronomy, Celestial Mechanics. In addition, those who would like to deepen their knowledge and experience can take part in an internship program and practical exercises. After successful completion, graduates are qualified for teaching professions.
