Description
“Master of Science in Biochemistry” is a four-semester degree course provided by the University of Jena. Participants have the chance to choose between English and German language. Students who enter the program will gain in-depth theoretical biochemical and molecular biological knowledge. They will attend different lectures such as Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Cellular Plasticity, Prokaryotic Gene Regulation, Theoretical Systems Biology, where will learn how to analyze biomolecules and cellular functions, using scientific methods. In addition, this program offers five different specializations, and an internship program. Upon successful completion, graduates are prepared for career in pharmaceutical industry, economic sectors and others.
