The study program “Master of Science in Biogeosciences” with a duration of four semesters is provided by the University of Jena. It is aimed for students with Bachelor’s degree who would like to deepen their knowledge and further their qualification. It combines both theory and practice. By entering in the program, participants are able to explore variety of lectures like Ecometry, Soil Microbiology, Biomineralogy, Geomicrobiology, Chemical Ecology, Flow & Transport Modeling. In addition, they will also take part in an internship program abroad, where will improve their knowledge and language skills. After completion of “Bio geosciences” graduates can find career in nature conservation, remediation of contaminated sites and environmental education.
