Description
“Catholic Religious Education’’ is a state examination program provided by the University of Jena. The course is with a length of nine semesters. Students will learn more about catholic theology from a scientific point of view. In addition, they will also acquire the ability to communicate Christian practice. The first year of their studies is focused on the introduction of all four theological disciplines, namely Church History, Systematic Theology, Practical Theology and Philosophy, and Biblical Studies. Graduates will be qualified to practice the teaching profession at regular schools (Regelschule).
