“Bachelor of Arts in Caucasiology” is a six-semester study course provided by the University of Jena. It is ideal for those who are interested in the Caucasus region, and would like to learn more about it. This program is designed to teach participants the history, culture, religion and language of the Caucasus people. In addition, students have the chance to study foreign language such as Russian, Georgian and Armenian. Some of the main subjects includes European Linguistics, Introduction to Linguistics, Fundamentals of Ethnic Studies, Fundamentals of Cultural History, Fundamentals of Islam. Upon successful completion graduates can find career in international organizations, intercultural social services, public relations, tourism and others.
