The study course “Master of Arts in Caucasiology/Caucasian Studies” offered by the University of Jena is with a duration of four semesters. It is aimed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and would like to deepen their scientific and theoretical knowledge. By entering this program, students have the opportunity to explore subjects like History, Linguistics, Political Science, Religious Studies, Indo-European linguistics, Syntax, Society and Conflict in the Caucasus. In addition, students will participate in an internship program abroad where will improve their language skills and knowledge. Career prospects for graduates are for example in international organizations, intercultural social services or media.
