The six-semester part-time extension exam course “Chemistry’’ is provided by the University of Jena. Here, students will further advance their knowledge and skills in teaching the subject of chemistry at regular schools (Regelschule). Furthermore, the program aims to encourage participants to develop an individual way of planning and conducting experimental lessons. Some of the modules featured in the study plan for this discipline include Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, General and Inorganic Chemistry, Preparatory Modules Didactics of Chemistry, and more. In addition, at the beginning of the study course, students will have the opportunity to choose an optional pre-course in Mathematics or in Chemistry. Thus, they can make the start of their studies much easier.
