The study program “Master of Science in Chemistry” with a duration of four semesters is offered by the University of Jena. The aim is to provide students with further scientific knowledge of this science. By entering in the course participants become familiar with the chemical working techniques. In addition, they can choose between ten different areas to specialize in. Content of study includes the subjects Inorganic Chemistry, Glass Chemistry, Theoretical Chemistry, Catalysis, Energy Systems, Macromolecular Chemistry. Upon successful completion of “Chemistry”, graduates are prepared for various career prospects, for example in industrial research, production, marketing & sales and much more.
