“Computer Science’’ is a six-semester part-time extension exam course provided by the University of Jena. Here, students will acquire expertise in the mathematical-scientific discipline of computer science. Through intensive training, participants will gain knowledge and skills in practical, theoretical and technical computer science as well as in subject didactics. Some of the modules featured in this study plan are Device Drivers, Cryptology, Computer Structures, Computability and Complexity, and others. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will have the chance to work as computer science teachers in regular schools (Regelschule).
