The state examination program “Computer Science’’ is provided by the University of Jena. Within the course of ten semesters students will receive the necessary competencies for practicing the teaching profession at grammar schools (Gymnasium). They will learn about the practical, theoretical and technical aspects of computer science along with subject didactics. This approach will help participants to develop better understanding of how to plan and conduct learning processes and to awaken students’ interest in the subject of computer science.
