Description
“Master of Sciences in Earth Sciences” is a degree program with a duration of four semesters, offered by the University of Jena. It is designed for students with a Bachelor’s degree and would like to deepen their scientific knowledge. By entering the program, they have the opportunity to learn more about the Earth system and new measurement methods, as they will attend theoretical lectures like Tectonics, Special Hydrogeology, Sedimentary Basins, Geoscience. Students will also participate in practical trainings in laboratory, and further their knowledge and skills. In addition, this course offers three different specializations: Geology, Geophysics and Mineralogy. Upon successful completion, career prospects for graduates are in geo and engineering offices, consulting companies, public research-related institutions, and others.
