Description
“English” is a seven-semester teaching program provided by the University of Jena. It is ideal for those who are interested in the English language and in Anglophone literatures and cultures. Students who enter this course have the opportunity to learn how can analyze the English language, and evaluate its literature and culture. Content of study includes the lectures English Linguistics, English-American Literary Studies, Language Practice, English Didactics, Introduction to Literary Studies, Phonetics, Sociolinguistics. After successfully completing this program, graduates are qualified for teaching positions in educational institutions.
